My wife and I had stumbled across this beautiful church and received more then we had bargain for! A gentleman of the church explain the history of this church but mostly about it during WW ll. It was the little things that he painted for us that gave us the horrific pictures of the bombings that had occurred during the war. But the most amazing thing, was he asked us to come on, complete strangers, to go with him! He took us up to the French War Memorial, an anchor on top of a hill, over looking the bay! Something we would have never known! We really appreciated his knowledge that he gave us! He returned us back to St. Johns, would not except and payment for time or gas. The sad part, is we never asked for his name..... So if this message reaches you. You have given us more then we ever expected in history of that little church in Greenoc! Our heart felt thanks and blessings go to you, most kind sir!
