I have never stayed at this hotel but my Aunt has and I have seen such a positive change in her since her visits that I agreed to write a review on her behalf!
My Aunt is a wheelchair user and sometimes requires a carer. She found out about the Park Hall Hotel and first visited about four years ago. She has been back on four or five occasions since.
The Hotel is adapted to the needs of those with mobility problems and/or wheelchair users. The food is good English cooking with plenty of home made cakes and scones. After a substantial breakfast (with plenty of choice) the guests can either relax in the Sun Lounge, TV Room or beautiful gardens or take advantage of the daily trips out to local attractions and beauty spots. There are staff to help wheelchair users and the opportunity to shop in the arcades in local towns. A picnic lunch is provided.
The evening meal is three courses of delicious food and those with special diets are catered for. After the evening meal there is usually entertainment with a singer or a comedian - or the opportunity to play cards, watch TV or simply to chat.
Bedrooms are prepared for guests with sheets turned down, windows opened/ closed and a hot drink served either in the lounge or in the guests bedroom.
Dorothy, my aunt has made many friends during her trips and looks on Trudie the proprietor as a friend. She always looks well and rested when she returns and cannot wait for her next visit.
Because of her disability it would be difficult for her to enjoy a holiday but here she know she will have a good time, with good food and pleasant company. I have not had the opportunity to visit the hotel yet but my thanks go out to Trudy for making Auntie Dot very very happy!

We have stayed at this holiday park for several years, our grandchildren absolutely love it. It is a well maintained and family orientated site. However, on a recent stay the residents/pub car park is now managed by Smart Parking. We followed the instructions, gave details of our name, length of stay and car registration number etc..., in at the office at the Morton Arms. On our return home we have so far received three Smart parking parking charges, which we now have the hassle of trying to get overturned. The same thing has also happened to our daughter. So while the Holiday Park etc are fab, do not be surprised if on your return home the parking charges start arriving. Add them up, plus the price of your stay and you probably could have gone abroad. There is definitely some lack of communication between the land owner (the Morton Arms), and their parking agent, Which is very sad as we love the site, but as it stands we will not be returning. We would have given a higher rating but for the car parking debacle. But in fairness we cannot fault the site itself.
